One of my guiltiest pleasures each Sunday is reading Post Secret. I have related to SO many of those. I have a lot I’d love to send in, but I never do.
Have you ever met up with, or found someone on the net that you knew many years ago, and after talking to them for awhile, you realize why you didn’t stay friends? You remember how they annoyed you in the first place? Yeah, that.
Tuesday is opening day for the Rangers. We really shouldn’t go, we’re so broke, but you know what? We kinda need a little break. Since my car got stolen on New Year’s Eve, and we’ve spent over 6 months poorer than dirt, it will be kind of nice to take a break from work and enjoy the Rangers. They’re doing pretty well, actually.
I was hoping Jr. would have done better at TMS this weekend. Dang it. He’s having a much better year, though.
Well, time for bed. Not that I didn’t sleep all day yesterday and a few hours today! LOL. Hey, that never stops me.

I know. I seem to be joining the growing number of bloggers who just don’t have the time or the passion to blog. It’s kind of stupid that I feel that way, really. It seems if life is going badly, I have a lot to say, but when it’s pretty hunkydory, I don’t post.
So yeah, all in all, things are going pretty well over here. DAD Pitt is doing really well with his job, and he really likes it. He’s been bringing in nice paychecks, and it helps SO much.
Have you ever sent an email to someone on accident? OMG I almost did that at work the other day. Right before I hit send, I looked at the “to” field. OMG! I almost sent it to my BOSS!! Good grief. I would have gotten fired. Note to self…DOUBLE CHECK THE “TO” Field.
My daughter jumped rope for an HOUR at school the other day. OMG! AN HOUR!! Can you imaging doing ANYTHING for an hour? I’m proud of her, but DANG. DANG!!
Ah well…time for bed. This IS a rare weekday post, you know!

So I’m back to Wordpress. We’re working on a website for our Blackberry Themes, so I thought I’d move my blog over here, too.
Wow. I haven’t updated in awhile.
I didn’t get the promotion that I mentioned below, but I’m not upset about it. It was for the best, anyway. There will be more, I’m sure. DAD Pitt loves his new job, and LOVES the paychecks even more!
The kidlets were on Spring Break last week, and spent it at my MIL’s house. We loved that she kept them for us. God..summer’s around the corner and we have no plans for what the kids will do. Sigh. Anyone want to babysit?
Remember that lady down below to I had an argument with before? Well, she called me out in front of the whole team at our team meeting the other day!! She said “Nothing personal against B, but…….” and went OFF on how I didn’t work hard enough for her, and all this shit. I said nothing. And this was NOT coming from my supervisor. My supervisor didn’t even know what the lady was talking about!! I was fuming. I didn’t say anything though. The next day, my supervisor told me that the lady was in major trouble, and may get fired over the incident. I’m stoked.

What it do, ya’ll? LOL…Sorry….How are ya’ll? Pretty good over here. Dad Pitt finally got paid from jobs he did back in January, so that made ALL of us happy. I applied for a different job in my department. Not sure if it’s a promotion, but it would definitely be harder. It’s a lot of reconciling (recon) and deposits and stuff. I honestly have NO backround at all in finance, but I’m learning. It’s a new career path for me. I considered going back to teaching, but my heart is not it it. At all. It just wouldn’t really be ethical to go back to the classroom if my heart wasn’t in it, I don’t believe.
THE OFFICE STARTS AGAIN APRIL 3rd! WOO FREAKIN’ HOO!! That writers’ strike sucked!! I can’t wait. Lovin’ me some Steve Carell.
Well, my kidney infection is gone, I think, but my bladder hurts when I pee. Great. I must have something else wrong. Man, Patrick Swayze’s pancreatic cancer has really scared me. One of the biggest symptoms, though, is rapid weight loss. At the moment, THAT is not an issue. I just don’t know why I keep getting bacteria in “the area.” I’m really conscientious about cleaning up after sex and after I use the restroom, so I don’t know what’s going on. Stressin’ me out.
Wellz, it’s 11:33 pm, and I got a long day tomorrow. 10 hr Mondays suck. I thought I’d leave you with this. Dad Pitt, the girls, our dog and I worked hard on this routine! LOL

Personally, I’ve been working 10 hr days, so I can relate. Money is kinda good, but all in all, my body is too old for this crap. Shouldn’t these be my glory days? Maybe I’m getting a little ahead of myself. I’m only 41. Quite a few years until retirement. sigh. Well THAT sucks.
Don’t you hate when the day after you get your paycheck, you’re broke? Man, I didn’t even get to ENJOY that paycheck. No new clothes, or $100 trips to CVS (don’t ask…I spend WAY too much at CVS for really no reason…). No itunes movies. NA effing DA! I guess paying the electric bill and cell bills are enough. It sucks to be responsible.
Made chili today. Wick Fowler and I did, I guess. Uh, and I hear the MIL and AIL (that’s aunt in law) downstairs. Guess my post is being cut short.

Hello My Friends,
Wow. I’m not very good at updating. My stuff is pretty stale. Well, I guess I don’t have much to say these days. We’ve been working 10-11 hr days on Mondays (yes, tomorrow…sigh) and then at least 9 on the other days. I appreciate the pay, but my body hurts.
I’ve been making a lil extra money on the side designing Blackberry 8100 templates. I have a lady who really likes my work, and has asked me to design things for her group. $6 a pop is kinda nice when you’re broke.
We’ve been waiting on a check my husband was supposed to get from DMX music for a job he did 2 months ago. We have to wait 30 days to get paid. They said they mailed the check LAST Friday. We STILL don’t have the check. We were guaranteed that it went out in the mail, but when we didnt’ receive it after a week, my husband was on the phone with the head of finance. Their answer: “you need to wait it out.” I keep saying that we don’t “need” to do anything except get paid for a job done. This is a large check. Enough to pay our mortgage. As it is, we have ZERO money. Thank god his mother helps us out. If it weren’t for her, we’d be without food and things.
DAD PITT’s cable job went kapoot. After one day of training, the guy he was training with had some “family emergencies”, and they wouldn’t assign DP to anything until they heard back. After 3 days, the guy ended up quitting. The cable company said they would find someone else to pair him up with, but we haven’t heard anything. In the meantime, DP was hired buy another company, and he starts the first week of March. It’s just getting so OLD!
Ah, but enough about me. How are YOU all doing? You can answer in a comment, or I’ll go read your blog. I’ve been reading a lot, but not doing much other.

Well, I’m enjoying my three day weekend, if by enjoying you mean babysitting my hyperactive children! Ah, it’s still better than being at work. I think.
DAD Pitt finally got a good job. He had been working for the Ft. Worth school district installing antivirus software, but they lost funding, and it was only a temp job anyway. Now he’ll be installing cable boxes for Charter Cable. It’s a job, right? It’s definitely a paycheck!!!
I went to the doctor Monday, and found out I had a bad kidney infection. It was weird, because I didn’t have any symptoms except a pain in my lower left back. Turns out I also have IBS. I also got some glorious drugs for SLEEP. I really like them. And my infection is getting so much better. Thank goodness.
